Get Educated
What you don’t know can hurt you. Through our proprietary trainings, your organization will develop an understanding and awareness of the needs, abilities, behaviors, and issues facing older adults–and those who are affected by them. This foundational knowledge is crucial to your organization’s ability to deliver appropriate services, create products, and implement policies and practices, so you stop wasting time and resources and losing money.
Dive Deep
In addition to exploring your known problems, we work with you to uncover differing conceptions and hidden issues so you can clarify the problem before the problem via our Strategic Clarifier Process. Stakeholder and core team strategy sessions combined with our review of key materials provides both you and us with a deeper understanding and a more accurate perspective on which to build.
An Impactful Initiative
The Strategic Clarifier Process informs the creation of your custom Strategic Roadmap which lays out the issues, recommendations, and strategic plan so you can implement a relevant initiative to further transform your community or organization.

Equity by Design
Working with AARP International, Silver to Gold co-developed and co-implemented a multi-year initiative for built environment stakeholders, agencies, and organizations so that they can generate a quantum leap in the creation of Enabling + Equitable Housing and Communities to improve the lives of the people they serve. We facilitated a summit for transatlantic built environment leaders and developed virtual international events.
Age Friendly Center for Excellence
We helped create and lead one of the United States’ first Age-Friendly Centers for Excellence in a public-private partnership to enable other municipalities and organizations to better meet the needs of older adults, including the development and implementation of a virtual workshop series.
Enable by Design
In a multi-year initiative we helped a Continuing Care Retirement Community better understand the older adults they serve so they could improve the lives of their residents and make things easier for staff. We held resident focus groups to uncover relevant issues; educated administrative and care staff on: age-related changes, and the impact of the built environment on both residents’ functioning and caregiving; and created a custom guidebook and trained maintenance staff on specific design features to inform enabling renovations in addition to providing evaluations of spaces.
